The GAP is an amazing 150 mile crushed limestone trail that used to be a railroad (called a rail-trail). It runs from Pittsburgh, PA to Cumberland, MD. The C&O is a unique 184.5 mile towpath from Cumberland to D.C.

Sunshine Luggage Shuttle was greatly inspired by the late Lawrence "Larry" Walsh of Pittsburgh and Confluence, PA. He was a dear friend, outdoorsman, cyclist, visionary, and he greatly valued our area and trail towns. There was no one like him — no older gentleman as sharp, witty, endearing, hard-working, helpful, and selfless. His life will always be fondly remembered and appreciated, and part of his legacy will shine on in Sunshine Luggage Shuttle.
